    Is there anything like it?
....well besides good bud,and good sex, no there is nothing comparable to good rock n' roll. So I thought I'd start a thread to spread some, share some, find some good stuff I've never heard of or seen before.

I'll start this rodeo off with a little Black Crowes, Featuring Jimmy Page!!!

(No clue how to post up the video, but here's the link anyway.)

Now what can you guys float my way?

I was a teen in the '70s, so Rock and Roll was at a 10 yr apex the whole time. I had pretty eclectic listening patterns - Classical to Sinatra to Pink Floyd. Heresy moment - never that big of Led Z fan (sorry).

Just introduced my teenaged sons to Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders (early stuff - god, that woman could rock).

I love rock - Eagles, Doobie Bros, Steve Miller, MeatLoaf (saw him in little club between Bat 1 and 2, he was broke, small show, he rocked the fucking house down). Stones, Elvis Costello, ska, Police, Clash (I know, I'm drifting into 80's).

Not a 50's fan - not a rap fan (Snoop rules, but more cause weed than tunes). Some country - Wille and Johnny C.

Sinatra, Crosby, Dino - cool cats.

Chrissy lyrics - "I shot my mouth off, and he showed me what those holes were for..."

It's hard for me to find newer rock that I like, I like the old stuff more. Most anything classic rock I like, tons of good music in the 80's & 90's, but then for me the music kinda went downhill. My favorites to come out in the last 10 years are..

    Queens of the Stone Age..

The Crooked Vultures..(Jon Paul Jones, Dave grohl, Josh Hamme.)

and I like The Black Keys but their more blues than anything.

I like Club Foot..reminds me of prodigy. The rest of their stuff sounded different to me, more pop/rock..meh. When i listen to that genre I like some of moving units, strokes, modest mouse, arctic monkeys, franz ferd. But I mostly stick to classic rock and 90's stuff.
