Recommendations for Europe?

The wife and I are at some point going over the pond. We were thinking of visiting Northwestern Europe specifically. Like the Scandinavia, possibly France and/or Germany. What's good? What's to see?

You guys must love the cold lol Id be heading to Italy and Greece if I was you maybe the south of France. Honestly there are so many great places to visit in europe you could do your head in just trying to decide.

I have a really wonderful guy in Amsterdam. He'll get you acclimated, take you around to the coffeeshops- may even be able to get you an audience with one of the major seed bank owners. You can't go wrong with the Netherlands. Oh- check out: thermae2000. Seriously worth a day- it's HEAVEN. DBoone is absolutely correct- you just can't go very wrong anywhere in Europe! I do recommend the Netherlands while it's still (meanign weed) open to tourists :- )

Ideally we will be able to get by the Netherlands before they close the Cannabis industry to tourists. That would be a very memorable experinece. Or not. Probably not.

Go- while you can. It is an extraordinary experience, and I am very glad I did it. Some of the laces I went have closed off to tourism, like Maastricht. What a beautiful place. I'd return to the Netherlands a-n-y-t-i-m-e. Such a gracious, beautiful land, indeed.

Well, castles in Germany would be on my list! There's ancient frontier castles on the ancient Roman borders that I'd love to see. One is right in the middle of the river (Rhine maybe?) on little a island, with the castle built on top of it.

I recent ly went to the Cup, & I really liked the architecture of the city. I think you'll see a lot of that type of stuff too. Big gothic style churches, arches, etc.. Sounds fun!
