sooooo...whos is the knight in shining armor? and im fairly certain you have the democratic and republican parties mixed up. we know who stands for their own enrichment through the Koch boys. "bill clinton" left our country with a budget surplus. i would vote to re-elect clinton in a heartbeat, but since i cant, president obama can count on my vote 100%. edit: sorry to further the political discussion, but cant let b.s like that go undisputed.

Now Iran is in the crosshairs and why because of there huge oils reserves and the only reason we have not gone there is that China is backing there play and has allready spent billions with them.

i somewhat agree, rondd5...but who do we vote for? i know the system is fuct. its all about the "pay to play" mentality and has been for a long time. i just dont see anyone that can do a better job than obama. maybe 2016 can bring about an actual change/shift in the system, but we shouldnt hold our breath. once again its a simple choice of the lesser of two evils. i just happen to believe that the best man for the job is our current president. not sure what your age, race, and academic credentials have to do with the price of eggs in china..? the billion spent will at least boost local economies as the reality show zig zags across the country. super pacs are pure evil, but both sides now use them. the tax rate that the 1% pay is just ridiculous and if they have to pay more..well, thats class warfare! the entire system is twisted and will never be rebuilt because now the national discussion has turned to contraception..not jobs, not iran, not energy independence, but mfn contraception. id laugh if it wasnt so pathetic and sad.

...the relevance of my age/race is simply this....I was one of obama's biggest supporters...I cried when he was elected, I wished my parents (who were born in the jim crow south) had been alive to see it....There was so much "hope" and "potential" and this guy pissed it all away...A tremendous "MISSED" opportunity...I do agree that it's pathetic, but this guy offers us nothing....but empty promises....the folks who run this place will never give-up power by a popular vote, money, big money has changed the entire landscape...They will spend combined over 1 billion dollars in the race....while simultaneously the states, the cities are bankrupt...no one cares....we will have the "flag" to keep us warm....I did not vote for clinton (the last time after "welfare reform", plunging millions of children into poverty) the 2nd time....Look at the numbers, since world war 2 the income of working families in the country has plunged.....it is no accident...I will NOT vote for obama, I will probably leave the office of the presd. blank on my ballot....(just like before)....there is no dialog in this country, there is no left...it has been discredited and blacklisted...I am a realist, I am NOT a "believer" in hope....things do NOT always work out for the best...
