3.5 million projected homeless in the USA
Ok I was curious to see the numbers so I did lil research today & found some info that just floored me to my soul.I dont care if ur Left or Right in ur political agenda this will upset u.
Today Reuters reported that due to the sub-prime mortgage crisis and the dramatic rise in foreclosures of owner-occupied housing, America now has a record number of vacant homes across the country – for the first quarter of this year. In discussing the rise in the share of vacant homes, the Reuters article, by Joanne Morrison, casually dropped a bomb: “the total number of vacant U.S. properties hit 18.6 million, which was a record,” quoting a U.S. Census Bureau official.
18.6 MILLION vacant homes! Now, that’s alotta vacancies. Incredible. According to the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty there are 3.5 million homeless people in this country. So, roughly, that’s 5 1/3 empty homes for every homeless person. This system sure is working, isn’t it?
This is what we need to CHANGE...When Greed surpasses NEED we have failed as a nation & the human race.a tiscket a tascket put some weed in the basket.......sometimes its better to just stfu cause in the end NO ONE REALLY GIVES A FUCK....

Greed has outweighed sense and compassion for quite some time now. That's why we're shrugging our shoulders after destroying the gulf ecosystem, then we drill more. That could all be solved with renewable energies, which in turn would provide employment for many, many people. You do realize that you can't have an Elephant foot wastebasket, without walking on the backs of "lesser" humans. Those are some mindblowing figures man.

It a total slap in the face SSI is going broke & all these banks that we just bailed out hold these homes hostage for the tax write off.We could put every homeless person not family in a home & still have 4 homes left over ? How the fuck did we let them build so many homes ? Do we not have planning commissions that suck up my tax dollar to prevent the collapse of the housing market ? Why is no one going back to these folks & holding them accountable for the loss of land to empty homes ?
Now they are also talking about not being able to make the switch to ethanol because the demand for corn is to high & we cant keep up production. So my next question is how many oil companies bought & built these empty housing tracks occupying previous farm lands.Whats going to happen when the rich have bought sold & ruined the land for greed ?
It already is happening we are selling bonds to China & importing more food from other countries. We need to address these issues before the country can no longer supply its self & are dependent upon foreign food as well as oil...a tiscket a tascket put some weed in the basket.......sometimes its better to just stfu cause in the end NO ONE REALLY GIVES A FUCK....

A slippery slope eh? The ethanol thing is an infrastructure problem from what I've read. It reacts differntly to other materials than petroleum distillates. The transportation system, the dipsensation system and the refining systems would all have to be dramatically changed for ethanol to work. I believe Brazil? That could be wrong. . . They've been using it for years, so the infrastructure exists already, making it look easier to impliment than it atucally is.
As much as it makes me sound like a conspiracy nut job (I actually am, so that's not a stretch) this is a system of control being implimented by the elite. Regualr folk have no connection to mass importation of goods, once you rely on someone for your survival needs, you are owned. I will not be owned. I have the tools to exist off grid and I will as soon as someone says I'm accountable to them for what I need to get by. I understand there is a correlation between what I've said and having a "job" but I'm implying that there is a much more sinister intention at work here. . .

This is just so sad. I dont see how the hell so many homes are needed. 18.6 million empty houses and only 3.5 million homesless people, where the hell did the 18.6 million go that used to have a mortgage on these houses? System needs a revamp before we're all screwed. 1 billion homeless and more houses than we would need but thats not gonna stop them from keeping us out if it got to that point. Just rediculous!

House the homeless, and tear the rest down for hemp farms.
