Alright folks please, please make sure you read the Terms of Service or TOS before creating an account on WeedWatch.

I know the link is in the top left corner of the website and you also were supposed to read it during the registration process... However in the last week I have noticed 2-4 new members with links to Commercial/Personal Websites in their signatures, not sure of the validity of those links, but I felt it a good enough reason to make this post for future members...

So please read and follow the TOS, it's really not that hard to do and will keep you safe and out of trouble with MOD's and the Admin... They are really nice people, but their job is to uphold that TOS...

With all that being said please enjoy WW and the community, and don't be afraid to ask a long standing member, mod, or admin if something is in violation of the TOS if you're unsure, most will gladly assist you.

Just to be clear, a member is allowed a link in their signature, unless your only purpose is to spam, then you'll eventually get caught.

Most of the ones I have encountered have more than one link... and all have been Commercial entities in those links such as I consider Spam according to how the TOS reads...Good eye though Mazar
What constitutes as a Referral Comment for users...
And if say a "User" or "Member" as it were linked a single link in their signature, and it was a link to say AdvancedNutrients does that Constitute as SPAM?

That part of the TOS is kinda murky for me and probably other regular joe's...

It would kind of depend man. If it was a clean link to AN's site then they probably just really like their stuff. But if you pay close attention, or copy the link and then post it in a new window and see something like a shitload of letters after the .com then its probably an affiliate link and that would be spam. It would mean they are making money off it, and not giving to the site. Multiple links, yes i'd say would be spam because they are most likely affiliates.

The links I've seen aren't clean links I.E. AdvancedNutrients.com They say like Medical Marijuana and then link to a Website... I assume those to be SPAM

a question... was reading the rules, pretty much the standard like most forums as I thought, but I noticed one thing I didn't really get
the age of use said 18, or the age of consent where you live(formulated a bit shorter in my words)
the only age of consent I know is the age when you can legally have sex, wich sounds a bit weird to me as an age limit for a weed forum
and in that case 15 year-olds from the netherlands could register here

it would be logical that it means the age that you're legally an adult, am I right?

Yea the age in which you are legally an adult. I thought the same when I joined another site
