D.I.Y Individual Scrog Box.

^^(now this is more along of the lines of what were doing here, individual scrog units)



Now As I first started reading and researching Scrogging a while back, I noticed from 98% of the grows I looked at or followed that they all had 1 thing in common, 1 screen for however many plants they may be growing. Works well, but then you cant move your plants, water them(out of reach) or other movement limitations, for small grows the individual scrog works for mobility and yield.


Now here was my first prototype, and what I will be basing future ones on.
Now remember this idea can be sized to your need depending on space.

Rules of thumb:
-12x12in. is usually surface area need for one plant, although not necessary on a smaller scale (i.e Pc grow/micro)
-usually the screen is 7-9in. above the top of your finishing pot, Now this is what I've been following when I had been designing and building these, but you can lower it depending on how your scraining.
-Make sure when designing your indi. scrog you take account measurements for extra space you need for drainage catchpan


Here was my first Prototype 24'x12' screen indi. scrog
Was built to accommodate a 2 gallon smartpot with the screen 9' above the top of the pot, and 1 1/2' space at the bottom to fit and slide a pan under.




This way, plants can me move, trimmed, and scrogged w/o the pain of not being able to reach your plants under one screen


Like I said, Full detail build will be soon, so bare with me, feel free to post ideas and whatnot so we can create the perfect scrog box.

Yea I've only had one go at scrogging, and greatly improved yield, and on a small enough scale long veg times are unnecessary

I hope you don't mind but I'd like to apply your scorg idea to a single plant grow under a 200 watt LED and see what happens in a grow log.

This is my PVC rendition of your idea.

For storage reasons I didn't glue the 4 vertical posts between the top and bottom allowing the screen to be dissambled.
