Weed Watch Winter 2012 Raffle

Have you been collecting your Weed Buck$.

Now is your chance to put them to use and purchase raffle tickets for a chance at the current raffle.

This raffle is for 1 (one) First Edition High Times Magazine provided by The THC Group LLC.

Simply go to the Raffles link in the community section and the top, and purchase a ticket for the drawing.

Due to the rarity of this raffle, each ticket for the drawing will cost 10 Weed Buck$ and each member can purchase up to 100 tickets per day.

The rules of the contest are simple and open to all members of Weed Watch who:

1) Are in Compliance with the Site's Terms Of Service
2) Have at least 10 posts in the forums.
3) Have enough Weed Buck$ to purchase raffle tickets.

The drawing will be held automatically on April 20, 2012.

Admin is not eligible to participate in the contest.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

The Raffle for the First Edition HIGH TIMES Magazine has been extended.

Due to the down time of the site, and the fact not many tickets have been purchased yet, I have extended the drawing date until 420.

The new drawing will be held on April 20, 2012 at 12 noon GMT.

I have also lowered the requirements for tickets.

You now only are required to have 10 posts and the cost of the tickets have been lowered to 10 WeedBuck$.

For this Raffle, moderators WILL be eligible to enter.

The drawing process is completely automated and moderators cannot effect the outcome of the raffle, nor have access to any part of the functionality of the raffle system.

This is an ultra rare prize that I want to be able to allow everyone a chance at.

Our moderators do a great job around here and should be rewarded with the chance at this history.

Yeah, If Mr. Perfectionist here knew it cost bucks to edit posts and fix my grammar, I'd have enough for a couple tickets.....lol
But, I'm with Solarcell, That should be in the Smith-Stonian museum.

Although the issue pictured looks like an original printing of the first issue in 1974, it's not a true "First Edition." For one thing, the First Edition didn't have the corner banner announcing that it was a "Collector's Edition." So although this is still a very valuable artifact, the raffle organizers might want to amend their promo copy. You know: True collectors do not like to be fooled. Especially when it comes to the fine print.

The wording on the raffle page describes completely what it is.
"This raffle is for one (1) first edition High Times Magazine, 1974. This is the $1.50, 2nd printing version. This would make a great addition to anybody's collection."
